I came across some new fabrics that I wanted to use for pillow cover styles and I have been busy sewing. I just love having a few sets of pillow covers around. It makes it so easy to change up the look of a room. You can glam it up for a formal party of make it cozy and inviting for some winter time nesting. Pillow covers are by far the least expensive and the easiest way to change a room.
I found this beautiful Shantung in gold. I was in a hurry to make something out of it so I left it on its own with euro sham envelope closure. The slub texture and sheen allow it to stand alone and still make a statement.
Then there is this jaunty dot twill form Premier Prints. Evenly spaced white dots on a storm gray background make this casual and fun without being too daring. It layers nicely with other bold prints like this Premier Prints Traditions in storm gray.
I am still playing with some other new fabric, so look for new pillow covers soon.
